The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Bank of the Philippine Islands series of Philippines in the World Currency contains 35 distinct entries with CPG® values between $6.00 and $8,500.00.
On 1 January 1912, a decision by the shareholders of Banco Español-Filipino changed the name to Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). In 1949, with the establishment of the Central Bank of the Philippines (now the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), BPI lost the right to issue Philippine pesos notes.
