American gold eagles feature on their obverses a likeness of Miss Liberty striding before a sunrise, a motif by renowned sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and made famous on $20 gold double eagle coins struck from 1907 through 1933. The reverse of the $10 gold eagle carries a design by Miley Busiek depicting a family of eagles.
