The Tatarstan Government series of Tatarstan in the World Currency contains 17 distinct entries.
On 30 August 1990, Tatarstan announced its sovereignty as the Tatar Soviet Socialist Republic. On 21 March 1992, Tatarstan held a referendum on the new constitution, and 62 percent of those who took part voted in favor of the constitution.
