About This Series

The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Hawaii Medals (1891–1893) series of Hawaii Territory in the U.S. Coins contains 7 distinct entries with CPG® values between $20,000.00 and $330,000.00.
Neither pattern, nor circulating isuses, these medals of the Hawaiian territory were produced by Messrs. Pinches & Co. (London) for Reginald Huth, for his private collection, and personal use. According to Stack's Bowers, Huth was a "wealthy Londoner and numismatist. He also had limited quantities of medals produced for Spain and Madagascar."
